be still.

it is in the silence of day to day life we find God; it is in the stillness that we can discover the depths of His great love.  busyness attempts to steal our glance, rip away a slow, content lifestyle and draw our focus to our to-do lists, friends and materialistic possessions.  in the stillness, find God.  take time each day to sit, ponder, dwell, understand, wonder and perhaps laugh or cry at the mercy and love of God.  Praise Him.  

Be still and know that I am God.

 Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling. Zechariah 2:13

Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.  The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.  Psalm 46:10-1 

Tear yourself away from day-to-day distractions and sit in His love now; soak in His presence; glorify His name.

ft. the O family

Family sessions are energetic, filled with laughter and attempts at getting a 'perfect smile' from a child (let's say tongues out or grumpy faces are more often than not preferred!) but that's exactly what fills the session with life and authenticity, which means capturing the real, upstaged moments is effortless. With the beautiful O family,  we strolled across the beach, laughed, played, talked and explored, and the rain - thank goodness - held off!
