of paintbrushes, watercolours, pencils, music and art.

my favourite kind of days are art-filled days; days when music resonates and resounds; days when paint brushes are plucked out from hiding places and swept across a pages - feeling and emotion and colour spilling out of each stroke; days when quick sketches and doodles line the margins of my notebook and days when I drape an extra scarf around my neck, whirl about in a colourful skirt, paint my nails coral pink, try a new hairstyle and slip on my favourite pair of flats.

what are your favourite kinds of days?

xx

ps what do you think of my 'pointe shoes' watercolour? -  yay or nay?

  4. You have a profound talent in painting, m'dear. And in photography as well. I cannot help but admire each stroke, the abstractions, the details--they're all masterpieces.

And the ways your described your favourite kinds of days made me immensely happy. Because those are some of my favourites too.

  10. Your photos are very lovely. And so is your artwork. I LOVE it!
I say yay to the pointe shoes. They're quite nice.

My favorite kind of days are the days when I can read without a care in the world with a cup of tea beside me. Or the days when I hear the rain against the windowpane and the aroma of baked goods drifts through the kitchen.
    Ah, heaven.

    Incredible post, as always! <3

  15. My favorite days are just like yours, with art and music together. =)
"pointe shoes" is very good, yellow for the shoes with a little purple in the background...I like it. You didn't stress over detail either, and I like the shadows.
    Definitly yay. ;)

    1. Aw, thanks SO much! I use Picasa 3 to edit my photos and, on the most part, use the 'Cinemascope' effect, adjust shadows, contrast, etc. and play around till I produce a picture I like. :)
