eucharisteo.

Running.  Breathing.  Praising.  Sobbing.  Laughing.  Rejoicing.  Thanking.
Jesus gave me this life so I'm going to use this life for Him.  Every breath I take is from Him, so every breath I take should be for Him.  Every step I take is a gift from Him, so I'm going to use every step I take for Him.
I'm going to shout praises to Him.  Give Him thanks.  Rejoice.

Eucharisteo.

EucharisteoGreek.  yoo-khar-is-teh’-o. Verb. Definition: 1.To be grateful, to feel thankful. 2. Give thanks

-- walking home, humming tunes, laughing, smiling, rejoicing, drenched with rain, after picking blackberries.

-- coming home, rising, preparing blackberries.

-- bubbles adorning dishes.  Bubbles with color and life.

-- Swollen clouds.

--The sun braking its way through clouds... the sun shattering light.

--rain pouring.  Drenching the earth.

-- reflections on iPods

-- dried roses

-- and life.

What is one 'eucharistio' -- or one thing you're grateful for -- you can mention in a comment today?

dancing

dancing in the rain with Jesus

Rain approached like footsteps.  And it fell like jewels; splashing, spraying, watering, refreshing the earth.  I ran in the midst of this, my feet slapping the wet pavement, my legs hopping puddles, wisps of hair flying, my heart free.  This source of water, this God-given gift, this that enables us to live life -- this rain.  I thanked God and praised Him.  I let go.  And I let Jesus take charge of my life.

I realize that letting go and letting God transform me is what I always need to do.  I need to always be able to let go during those stormy times in life, and let God take charge over them.

Let's dance in the rain with Jesus.

Let's embark on a life time journey -- letting God be the number one person in our life.  Letting God be the one who can help us dance in the rain -- dance in the storms of our life.

Will you embark on this journey, too?

Update:  Aug 12, 2015... almost four years later, this is my most viewed post with over 4,000 post clicks.  I'm not sure why it has become the most popular, but I certainly hope you've benefited from it!  Let go and let Him take charge of your life. :)

rain on window panes + juicy lemons + summer

When winter wraps itself around me, and fall's breeze keeps me cold, and Spring's rain never ceases to fall -- I wish for summer.  But now, I can't believe it's actually here.  Long, sunshiny days open to leisurely play and doing what one loves is bliss.

In my small world, summer holds a myriad of delightful things, such as; sweet, fresh lemon juice drizzling lazily down into a cup, gardening in the humidity, running and dancing through sprinklers, taking countless pictures in mirrors with sisters, traveling, watching the sun set, and going strawberry picking in the morning.
{ summer is } ... going strawberry picking.

{ summer is } ... taking countless pictures in the mirror with sisters,

{ summer is } ... sweet, fresh lemon juice drizzling lazily down into a cup

{ summer is }... rain falling in the midst of humid, humid weather.

{ summer is }... taking pictures of mud.

{ summer is }... watching the sun slip away behind houses, trees, hills, and valleys.

and summer is laughing and enjoying...

(I have this urge to laugh now... so I'll show you this clip).

Okay, guys... funny right?!

Enjoy summer, (and life), because it doesn't stay like this forever.
