(agreed?)
I'm itching for summer feelings: campfires and sticky fingers - marshmallows roasted golden brown, crisp, warm and melting. fireflies illuminating in the dark, humidity of night; casual, lazy evenings spent outside laughing with friends. walking out-of-doors, barefoot. crying happy tears, windows open, air conditioners whirring; pools and new bathing suits and sun-bleached hair and tans; salty ocean water and being buried in sand.
are you ready for summer?

Oh my goooooodness, I love that second picture! The clouds shape the tree perfectly! They are in the same shape. Weirdly cool.
ReplyDeleteJust what I thought when I saw the cloud! I immediately snatched out my camera.
DeleteI can't wait! No school and endless possiblities. Scorching beach days, adventures through the island, camping with best friends. It's going to be an amazing time! :)
ReplyDeletedear acacia, this is the part where I tell you how much you inspire me daily. your talent as a photographer, writer, and artist in general is so very inspiring. thanks for that. <3
ReplyDeleteone word: YES.
ReplyDelete[also, all of these photos are intensely gorgeous and pinnable :) ]
i am with you there. once school is over i am a free woman! can't wait for summer.
ReplyDeleteI love this photography! Gifted! x
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! I can't wait for summer! I have to admit, before my siblings started going to college/community college, summer was never a big thing for me. Since I was homeschooled I pretty much worked through the summer and took other random times off.
ReplyDeleteBut now that half of my siblings are going to college in some form or other is crazy how much I'm looking forward to summer. Anticipating it with eager eyes. It is going to be awesome!
And your pictures are LOVELY!!!! Seriously girl. I love them. My favorite would have to be the ocean. The ocean over there is impossibly gorgeous. You are definitely extremely talented! And at writing. Your writing is definitely my favorite! It's so good.
Love,
Rebekah
beautiful post--i absolutely adore the quote at the end, and yes! i am itching for summer feelings, as well. i can't wait for swimming, cook outs, canoe floats...you name it. : )
