CINNAMON ROLLS

cinnamon rolls to be accompanied by tea and a dash of snow.

I'm trying to enjoy spring (ahem, WINTER) by snuggling up on the couch, sipping tea and indulging in good books, making cupcakes and eating cinnamon rolls, going on walks in the snow and having dexterous snowball fights.  It's supposed to be spring, but goodness gracious it isn't, so we must take advantage of this cold, crisp weather and bake a few wintry delights -- to see my rendition of cinnamon rolls, view my post here.

Is winter still lingering  or is spring in full bloom in your corner of the world

Happy April!

like last time, the weather is still confused here. It's warm and full of sunshine one day and it's freezing the next. :P

  19. Dear Acacia,

Don't be mean like this. Send some over to Hawaii! Asap. I can almost smell them from those delightful pictures. And the snow. Sigh. Someday I will experience it.

How are you doing? I'm so glad to be back in the blogging world (and to people who think that sounds lame, it's actually awesome).

That sounds like a wonderful day to me. Reading good books, curled up with good friends like cinnamon rolls or cupcakes.

Winter is still lingering. I know only because there is still waves on the north shores. But of course it is sunny and bright.

I love your writing. Seriously. It's so lovely. You make anything sound wonderful.
    Love,
    Rebekah

    1. Dear Rebekah,

Thank you so much for your sweet comment. First of all, I highly suggest you buy a plane ticket to England now. Then fly over here. And since the weather's still chilly, catch some of the snow flakes while they last.

Secondly, in answer to your question, I'm doing pretty well. I mean, life isn't perfect- and what I said in this blog post about my life (reading cozily, baking, etc.) isn't all that wonderful even though I make it seem like the most beautiful thing in the world. Blogging is like that, I suppose. You can't portray every detail of your life exactly as it is, no matter how hard you try. And when it comes to sharing details of my life, I'm so often tempted to share the good, beautiful, and lovely side of life.

      Sigh.

I'd love to come to Hawaii and watch the waves lap and push up and down the shore and feel the warm sun slip around me. (If only plane tickets were cheap, rather than $1000.)

      Love,

      Acacia

  20. what possessed you to use the same font and color scheme as carlotta for your header?
wow. you used to be very original and unique. i don't even know what to say. it definitely isn't a coincidence, as you are an avid reader of her blog.

be yourself. i suppose when carlotta changes her header, yours will likewise be adjusted.

    wow.

    1. Hmmm, yes... you got me thinking! It's good to know that someone notices that my header IS like Carlotta's. Therefore, I think I'll stick to the old header and NOT use the other header I had previously. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
