On a cold, blustery Wednesday in February, Rachel and I popped over to a local salon to get Rachel's ears pierced for the first time. While I took photos, she endured the pain of the piercing. But in the end, we both succeeded in our duties - Rachel had her ears pierced and I had a few lovely photos!

I remember getting my ears pierced too. :) It was a little scary, but I think I have a high pain-tolerance. Still, the nerves are something to remember. ;) Lovely pictures, Acacia! That is so exciting! :)

I had my ears pierced when I was born, its a sort of tradition in mexico for girls. :)

ReplyDeleteSitting in the chair, waiting to get my ears pierced is a moment I won't ever forget. The feeling of nervousness and excitement makes the wait feel so long. I had to get them done a couple times because mine closed up. I've had them pierced for several years now. It's nice being able to add earrings to make an outfit just right. :)

Ahh, so fun! What a great idea to go along and document the memory (if not slightly traumatic ;)). Ha ha, I got my ears pierced when I was twelve or so, and although it didn't hurt too badly, I had a mini-meltdown.

ahh.. she looks so calm. I want to pierce my ears eventually. But it freaks me out to think of something going through my ear. *shivers* I love the touch earrings can bring to a person's outfit though.... gorgeous photos, dearie!
